This week’s review is “Gold” starring Matthew McConaughey, Bryce Dallas Howard, Edgar Ramirez, Corey Stoll, and Toby Kebbell. Unfortunately it is far from gold in terms of quality.
Since the film is loosely based on a true story, emphasis on loosely, the review contains mild spoilers. It also doesn’t take a true detective (har har) to know that when a film gets bumped from prime Oscar time in the fall, to mid January, that something is amiss.
