This week’s (spoiler free as long as you haven’t watched an interview with Hugh Jackman in the last year) review is “Logan” which is the last of the Wolverine solo films, and oh what a film it is.
James Mangold absolutely redeems himself for “The Wolverine” (which he did not write, so I assume that played a monumental difference). Sir Patrick Stewart is magnificent as Professor Charles Xavier (sorry James McAvoy). Stephen Merchant provides an interesting choice as Caliban.
Newcomer Dafne Keen steals the show, she’s going to give Eleven from “Stranger Things” a run for her money in terms of most badass kid.
