This week's movie reviews are about as far apart genre wise as you can get, the comedy "Office Christmas Party" and the political thriller "Miss Sloane."
The first film is "Office Christmas Party" starring Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman, Olivia Munn, TJ Miller, Kate McKinnon and Courtney B Vance. It centers around... you guessed it, an office Christmas party!
This film isn't mean to be anything more than it is. The plot was thin, I laughed at plenty of points. I cringed at plenty of points (it definitely earns it's R rating).
The second is "Miss Sloane" starring Jessica Chastain, GuGu Mbatha-Raw, Mark Strong, John Lithgow, and Sam Waterson. She gives an amazing performance though it may be tough to sit through another film about politics nowadays.
