The fall is kicking off with a jam packed weekend. We've got "Stronger" "Kingsman: The Golden Circle" and "The LEGO Ninjago Movie"
"Stronger" is the strongest of the 3, it's the story of Jeff Bauman who was at the finish line of the Boston Marathon in 2013 and lost both his legs in the bombing. Jake Gyllenhaal gives an impressive performance in the role. "Kingsman: The Golden Circle" is a more fictionalized tale of violence, it's the follow up to "Kingsman: The Secret Service" which was unfortunately superior, in spite of the additions of Halle Berry, Julianne Moore, Jeff Bridges, Pedro Pascal, and Channing Tatum to the sequel.
Finally there's the middling "The LEGO Ninjago Movie" which is a cheap ploy to sell a b-list series of LEGO Toys. In spite of a strong voice cast of Jackie Chan, Dave Franco, Fred Armisen, Kumail Nanjiani, Michael Pena, Abbi Jacobson, Zach Woods, Justin Theroux and Olivia Munn.
