REVIEW: “A QUIET PLACE” & “BLOCKERS”

This week brings two very different but very good films! John Krasinski’s “A Quiet Place” and the comedy known as “Blockers.”

Krasinksi continues to improve as a director with each film he makes. His horror debut “A Quiet Place” is one of the few horror films of the past few years I’ve seen willingly. It stars Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe, and Millicent Simmonds. It had me sinking in my seat in fear.

A film that had me rolling with laughter in my seat was “Blockers” starring Leslie Mann, John Cena, and Ike Barinholtz. The film was either going to be amazing or horrible, and thankfully it was the former. It features the aforementioned as three parents trying to stop their teenage daughters from completing a prom night sex pact.
