This week brings two unfortunate box office entries with “Hellboy” and “High Life” while “Missing Link” is worthy of at least one viewing.
“Hellboy” is an utter disappointment. It’s a sloppy mess of a film that is not fun, entertaining, or impressive in any way. David Harbour is wasted in the role. Milla Jovovich, Sasha Lane, Daniel Dae Kim, and Ian McShane also star.
“Missing Link” is the latest animation from Laika studios and while not their best, is a happy medium for adults and children. Hugh Jackman, Zoe Saldana, Emma Thompson, Timothy Olyphant, and Zack Galifanakis star.
Finally there’s the woman hating space set mess that is Clarie Denis’s “High Life” starring Robert Pattinson, Juliette Binoche, Andre Benjamin, and Mia Goth.
