This week brings the female lead heist film “Ocean’s 8”, the also criminal centric “Hotel Artemis” and the Fred Rogers documentary “Won’t You Be My Neighbor.”
“Ocean’s 8” is a fun romp that you really don’t need to have seen any of the predecessors for. It stars Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Rihanna and Helena Bonham Carter.
Hotel Artemis” was an unexpected pleasure, it was either going to be a disaster or great. Thankfully it’s more along the lines of the latter. It stars Jodie Foster, Sterling K. Brown, Sofia Boutella, Jeff Goldblum, Brian Tyree Henry, Jenny Slate, Zachary Quinto, Charlie Day, and Dave Bautista.
“Won’t You Be My Neighbor” will restore your faith in humanity.
