It continues to be a busy time at the box office with the sub-par submarine thriller "Hunter Killer", the unnecessary trip down memory lane "Mid90s", and the fascinating true story behind "Can You Ever Forgive Me."
"Hunter Killer" stars Gerard Butler, Gary Oldman, Michael Nyqvist, Common, Linda Cardellini, Common, and Toby Stephens in a Cold War esque modern day standoff that could potentially qualify as a guilty pleasure.
"Mid90s" is the directorial debut of Jonah Hill. I hate to be cliche but perhaps he should leave the directing (and writing) to others.
Finally there's "Can You Ever Forgive Me" which is the true story of author turned criminal Lee Israel. It stars Melissa McCarthy, Richard E. Grant, and Dolly Wells.
