This holiday weekend brings several films vying for your time and money, including the latest "Robin Hood" remake, "Ralph Breaks the Internet" and "Green Book."
"Robin Hood" should have been a starring vehicle for Taron Egerton but ends up being a medieval hot mess instead. He's better off sticking to his Kingsman tailored suit than his CW ripoff archer getup. It also stars Jamie Foxx, Jamie Dornan, Eve Hewson, Tim Minchin, and Ben Mendelsohn.
Then there's the trying too hard "Ralph Breaks the Internet" which is an unasked for sequel to one of my favorite Disney animated films of the past however many years. John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer, and Jane Lynch return. They're joined by Gal Gadot and Taraji P. Henson.
Finally there's the Oscar bait film, "Green Book" which is based on a true story. It stars Mahershala Ali as Dr. Don Shirley and Viggo Mortensen as Tony Yip, his driver. Peter Farrelly Directs.
The latest interviews, reviews, and opinions on film by Dana Han-Klein. Thoughts and opinions are entirely my own and not reflective of my employer or any third parties.
