We’ve hit a year of movie reviews! It’s only appropriate that the first film I reviewed was from A24, as is this week’s film. This week brings “Free Fire” from director Ben Wheatley and starring Sharlto Copley, Armie Hammer, Brie Larson, and Cillian Murphy.
While it’s easy to compare the constraints of the film to a Tarantino flick, I don’t think that’s what Wheatly was trying to accomplish.
