This week was “The Light Between Oceans” starring (current/subject to change) real life couple Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander. It’s easy to see how they’d fall in to a romantic entanglement in real life based on these roles. However in spite of their onscreen chemistry I found the film a little too bland and not quite unique enough. It also tried to guilt you in to crying? I move to rename the film “Extreme close ups of beautiful people drippily crying”… More in the audio review!
