How can so many talented and famous people decide to be in such a terrible film such as “Dolittle”? One assumes the answer is “Money”.
Robert Downey Jr. brings no joy or reinvention to the role of Dr. Dolittle. In spite of a supporting cast of Emma Thompson, Tom Holland, John Cena, Selena Gomez, Rami Malek, Ralph Fiennes, Kumail Nanjiani, Octavia Spencer, Craig Robinson, Michael Sheen, Marion Cotillard, Jim Broadbent, Jason Mantzoukas, and Antonio Banderas…. the movie reeks like a menagerie.
