This week brings the latest Melissa McCarthy comedy, “Life of the Party.”
I actually like Melissa McCarthy. I get a little tired of the roles she takes sometimes because I think she’s capable of doing comedy that isn’t just about size or homeliness. This film is a step in that direction, with the comedy centering more on her being a mom who’s a fish out of water/going back to college… at the same school as her daughter.
