Kristen Stewart tries her best to play “grown up actress” but to little avail in this Jean Seberg biopic.
While it clearly wanted to be an awards contender, “Seberg” falls short and probably doesn’t do its subject justice. It attempts to tell the tale of actress Jean Seberg and her involvement in the Civil Rights Movement (and subsequent running afoul of Hoover). Jack O’Connell, Vince Vaughan, and Anthony Mackie also star.
