As the year winds down we have two polar opposite but equally bizarre films in “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” and “Cats.”
It doesn’t really matter what I say in this spoiler free review of “Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker” because there’s no way you aren’t going to see the end of the Skywalker saga. Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Billy Dee Williams, Keri Russell, Naomi Ackie, Anthony Daniels, Kelly Marie Tran, Richard E. Grant, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong’o, Dominic Monaghan, and Joonas Suotamo star.
Then there’s “Cats” which it turns out is just about cats. There’s not a lot more to it. I actually wanted it to be MORE absurd. Taylor Swift, Jennifer Hudson, James Corden, Idris Elba, Judi Dench, Ian McKellen, Rebel Wilson, Jason Derulo, and Francesca Hayward star.
