This week brings two attempted thrillers in very different settings, “The Aeronauts” and “Dark Waters.”
Unfortunately “The Aeronauts” does not soar with excitement. The film spends the majority of its time trying to convince you how high the stakes are instead of actually bothering to raise them. Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones star.
Meanwhile real life is scarier than fiction in “Dark Waters” which is based on the true story of the Dupont Chemical Company essentially knowingly poising people. Mark Ruffalo, Anne Hathaway, Tim Robbins, Bill Pullman, Bill Camp, Victor Garber, and William Jackson Harper star.
